How to make site header smaller

  My logo is at the top of my blog site, but there’s quite a bit of white space above and below the logo on my site. There’s no extra white space above or below in my actual logo image that I upload. Is there a way to lessen or remove the white space around my logo? My site is http://www.simplyotte.com
