How to make sub pages and use php?

Hi, I’m new to this but am quick to learn….

I have made several new pages for my new WordPress site (for example, Comics) and the title of each shows up as a clickable link on the main page. I now want to make a page that you can only get to from one of the main pages, in effect “a sub-page” (example, Dilbert comics within the Comics page). How do I do this without having Dilbert Comics show up in the page index bar at the top of my site?

I assume this has something to do with tags, parameters, php, themes, categories and the like, all of which I know nothing about. The wordpress tutorials havent been terribly helpful, as I often don’t even know where to start with the coding. For all of the example Phps, where does one even enter that information into? Is it the editor of the themes? Is it at the top or the bottom? An easy to understand, point by point breakdown of this process would be incredibly helpful, as would a link to a good, simple tutorial.

    Thanks, Ryan Hailey

This is the wordpress.COM support forum that’s only for those with free bligs being free hosted by wordpress.COM. Here we cannot access the template files containing the PHP underlying our themes let alone edit them.

If you can access the PGP in your template then you have a wordpress.ORG install and ought to be posting to the support forum the support bot points to http://wordpress.ORG/support
