how to make the body of my blog transparent to see the background?

    Howdy all,

    I’m a bit new to this, but I’ve trawled the forums trying to do what everyone suggests, however I’m having no luck.

    I have a background image that I want to have as the background for my text to sit on, but I can’t remove the white colour of the body or the main title or anything.

    Any help would be appreciated :D

    I’m using a child theme to add the css, and I’ve tried the following with no luck:

    .site-header {
    background-color: transparent;
    }

    body {
    background-color: transparent;
    }

    #site-navigation {
    background-color: transparent;
    }

    The website is tommy-jade.com

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
