  hi,

  I want to buy a premium theme ‘Outspoken’ (http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/outspoken/support/). but before i do, I want to know if there’s a way to make the ‘homepage big slider’ slide without reader needing to click the arrow?

  If you go to the live demo site you can answer your own question and the answer is “no” ie. the theme is not designed to have an auto-advancing post slider.

  In most of the themes with featured post sliders, visitors have to click to advance the slider to the next featured post. Some themes have a featured post slider that automatically advances: Debut, Currents, Linen, On Demand, Modularity Lite, Sight. (the first 4 are premium themes) and the last one is a free theme.
