How to Make the WordPress Site Point to the Domain I transferred?
-
Help! I built a new site in WordPress (agentwebsolutions.wordpress.com) and then transferred my domain from GoDaddy to WordPress. I made my old domain the primary website. When I did that it it seems like my new site disappeared? Although the pages are still there when I navigate to pages. I can’t seem to get back to the new site I built on agentwebsolutions.wordpress.com. And when I navigate to my domain (www.stephanie-quirk.com) it has my old website.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi 👋🏼 When you transfer a domain in to WordPress.com, we will attempt to retain the DNS settings for the domain that existed prior to the transfer. This means that after a domain is transferred in, it still might be pointing to an old site.
In most cases, you can resolve this by resetting the “default A records” and “default CNAME records” as outlined here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/view-or-restore-default-dns-records/#default-a-records
I’ll email your WordPress.com account as well with specific instructions pertaining to your account/domain.
