How to make this style works in WordPress.com?

    Hi there,
    I’m thinking if it’s possible to make this site in WordPress.com

    I think that editing the CSS is possible to adjust the background and most of the menus.
    But I’m not sure about the transparency and the images above.

    Which template is more suitable?
    Which pagckages do I need to make it work?
    (editing css + domain + no ads?)

    Please help me out.

    The CSS editing upgrade is not recommended to those who lack CSS editing experience and cannot do the work independently as there is no Staff support for it.

    I’m afraid you will have to wait at least until Friday or Saturday when devblog (a volunteer) may or may not be available. He has made it clear that he will not be available until then. Perhaps using the tutorials at the head of the CSS customization forum is the way to go.

    I have returned to clarify some things for you and the are as follows:
    (1) The only templates we can use on wordpress.com blogs are those found here > Appearance > Themes

    The two templates you have posted screenshots for are not in that array. The only themes in that array have been adapted from the original versions coded to run on wordpress.org software so they can run on wordpress.com multiuser software.

    (2) There is no FTP access to wordpress.com blogs and we cannot upload templates, themes, plugins, etc. into them at all.

    (3) wordpress.com does run advertising on our blogs as described in the support entry that I will link to however, unless your blog qualifies and is accepted into either the VIP hosting program or the AdControl program you will not be able to run any advertsising on it.

    (4) Purchasing a domain and or domain mapping changes nothing other than the URL. The same TOS and all the same policies still apply if your blog is free hosted by wordpress.com.

    Before Upgrading
    The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes and plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and must still abide by our Terms of Service accordingly.

    Moreover, if you register a domain through WordPress.com, you will not be able to create any subdomains on it or add any additional records (such as mail records, CNAMEs, A records, etc.), and we automatically redirect requests to the WWW subdomain to the main domain address (i.e http://www.yourdomain.com becomes yourdomain.com).
