How to make two domain-names point to the same blog?

    Hello everyone and wordpress.com!

    I created this blog jelenamitra.wordpress.com – some time ago i decided to buy a better domain-name and choose jelenamitra.com

    Its all been working great until i now.

    Some days ago I decided to rename the blog and choose mitrahoop.wordpress.com – after that i also bought the domain >> mitrahoop.com << since i in the long run want to migrate to this name.

    I thought that i would come to the same page regardless if i used “jelenamitra.com or mitrahoop.com” but it seems that mitrahoop.com is a whole new wordpress-installation….

    As i understand this: these two have been linked:

    mitrahoop.com > jelenamitra.wordpress.com = empty site
    jelenamitra.com > mitrahoop.wordpess.com = my full site

    Q: how do i link these two together? (site redirect?)

    I want to be able to use mitrahoop.com as my primary site and slowly let go of jelenamitra.com when i feel its time…

    You should be able to change the mapping to have two names mapped to the same blog – can’t remember if that is transferring the mapping (you should be able to do that yourself at Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> mouse over the upgrade and pick Transfer)

    I have flagged this for the staff to help if you want them to do the transfers for you – I don’t think you will need to buy an extra upgrades (site redirect)

    I see mitrahoop.com mapped to jelenamitra.wordpress.com and jelenamitra.com mapped to mitrahoop.wordpress.com.

    Would you like both custom domains to be mapped to jelenamitra.wordpress.com with mitrahoo.com the primary domain, so all other domains resolve to that one? If so, I can take care of that for you, but I want to make sure I am doing it right before I make the changes. :)

    Just to be clear – i want both domains to point to the site that actually works regardless!!! (not the one that says “Nothing Found” :( )

    Right now the working one seems to be:
    mitrahoop.wordpress.com

    mitrahoop.com
    ——– > same working site :)
    jelenamitra.com

    Oops, I think I listed them backwards before. :)

    I have moved the domain mapping so everything points to mitrahoop.wordpress.com.

    You can manage which domain is the primary domain here:
    https://mitrahoop.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

    Regardless of which you choose there, all three (mitrahoop.wordpress.com, mitrahoop.com and jelenamitra.com) will all point to the same site. The primary one is the address that will show up in the address bar.
