how to make widgets permanently visible in side bar, Oslo theme
-
Hi,
I just purchased the Oslo theme, and I created custom menus (I was using the MILK theme previously) and placed them in the widget bar. In my previous MILK theme blog these were visible on the left side of the blog. How can I make these visible in my Oslo blog, now they will only appear when I click on the 3 stripe icon in the top left corner of the black side bar. I wish to have them visible at all time, without having to click on that icon. How can I make this possible?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here are the links to the detailed theme description page and the live demo site:

http://oslodemo.wordpress.com/Oslo is a premium theme part of what you purchased is support direct from the theme’s designer. The person with the username account who purchased the theme can post to the Premium Theme Support forum for the theme to get help with it http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/oslo in the Premium Theme Support forum.

CSS editing cannot be used to chnage the way any theme functions. It can only be used to change appearance.
Does the Custom Design upgrade let me edit HTML?
No. The Custom Design upgrade allows you to edit fonts, colors, and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup or PHP code. … http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions -
@realitycheckthesequel, on some themes toggles for sidebars can be overridden. I’ll be out for a little while but will see if that is possible with Oslo when I get back in a couple hours.

Ok, it took some doing, but the following will make the widgets on the left visible at all times. The downside of that is that your site title goes away.
.no-touch #widgets nav li, .no-touch #widgets .widget:not(nav), .touch #widgets .widget, #widgets { opacity: 1 !important; } #secondary-main, #widgets-open, #widgets-close { display: none; } #widgets { position: absolute; }
