How to manually publicize posts

    How do I manually share each post to Facebook so that every time I update one, it doesn’t post automatically?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there. Publicize only posts the first time you publish a post. Updating the post, or even setting it back to draft and publishing it again won’t make it Publicize to Facebook again.

    As for sharing manually, you copy the URL of the post and paste it into Facebook.

    If you don’t want a specific post to share via Publicize, look for the Publish module (in the classic editor; in the new editor I think it’s under sharing), click Edit, and unselect any services you don’t want it to Publicize to.

    PLEASE HELP! All of my Social Sharing buttons have dissapeared from the bottom of all my posts. I have done everything from uninstalling to resetting the theme. Also I cant see the publicize button anymore when I create a post. please look at my blog and help. 2 days with no response from anyone. http://www.lisamonoson.com

    All of my Social Sharing buttons have dissapeared from the bottom of all my posts.

    I can see all sharing buttons on posts just fine on http://lisamonoson.com/, both on the home page and on individual posts.

    I have done everything from uninstalling to resetting the theme.

    Neither of those options exist on WordPress.com. We can only switch between themes, but you can neither uninstall a theme, nor do themes here have a reset option. Do you perhaps have another site running the WordPress.org software? If so, you need to post in the WordPress.org forum for help with that site. https://wordpress.org/support/

    I don’t know of any Publicize button. In the classic editor the Publicize options can be enabled or disabled via the Publish module in the top-right of the screen, and in the new editor those options can be found under Sharing in the sidebar on the left.

    Where exactly have you been asking for help? Your forum history shows only one post – this one – so you have definitely not been waiting for help in this forum.
