how to map a subdomain to another host?

  i have summittileonline.com nameservers pointed to wordpress.com.

  i am in the process of moving to my own host provider (nexcess.com).

  in the meantime i created a subdomain at nexuses.com called dev.summittileonline.com and already pointed the name servers to nexuses servers.

  however when i enter the dev subdomain in a growers it automatically takes me to the main summittileonline.com on wordpress.

  how can i configure dev subdomain to point to nexuses.com servers please?

  You might need to create a CNAME record for that subdomain. You can add Custom DNS records for A, CNAME, MX, and TXT records using the Custom DNS feature.
