How to map myblogname.wordpress.com to mydomain.com?
-
I signed up for wordpress.org and I am using godaddy as the hoster. Now I would like to point myblogname.wordpress.com to mydomain.com. I am a bit confused at what to do and I do not want to mess up the settings of my domain as I paid for somebody else to create that blog on godaddy :-)
Also some plugings require an API key and I got that API key using my wordpress.com login, which is different from the wordpress.com login I created to manage my wordpress blog from godaddy… is this ok? am I violating any term of use?
I hope this is clear enough so somebody can help me. I am not well versed on this topic.
Thanks in advance!

There was a trick to pointing a wordpress.com blog to a .com blog but I can’t find it right now. I think it had to do with paying to domain mapping here and then changing the nameservers back to where you are hosted.
As for the API key – no idea.
