How to map WP blog to different domain?
-
Hi folks,
I am not tech-savvy at all, so bear with me. I registered and mapped a custom domain for my WP blog last year to http://www.linguaurbana.org (currently private as its undergoing a makeover). I want to build a website now that’s more than just the blog (blog will be small component of the whole site). So I want the linguaurbana.org domain to direct to my main site, and the WP blog to be accessed through something like linguaurbana.org/blog. But right now, the WP blog is mapped to the linguaurbana.org domain. How would I have it mapped to linguaurbana.org/blog? And how could I free up the linguaurbana.org domain to be direct to my main non-WP site?
Let me know if my question’s hard to understand. Thanks for the help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you read the support documentation?
Subdirectories
Sorry, but you are not able to map a subdirectory (e.g. example.com/blog) to your WordPress.com blog.http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/

Thanks… can I map a subdomain: (blog.example.org) if my primary domain is registered through WP?

I believe that from here on out you need to put your questions directly to Staff http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
