How to mapp a domain from one blog to another one?

  How can I transfer one domain to another blog?

  I’ve created 2 blogs by mistake with different domains and I would like to mapp 1 domain to the blog that I’m actually using.

  I’m using the martinslavinia.wordpress.com and I would like to have the laviniamartins.wordpress.com linked to it.

  So, how can I set up the wrong domain to automatically redirect visitors to my blog URL?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Lavínia,

  After looking into your account, I found that you have a domain registered here: laviniamartins.com and the domain mapping for: laviniamartins.com.br with the Premium upgrade. From my understanding you would like all of this transferred to the blog:

  laviniamartins.wordpress.com

  Please reply to confirm and I can get this taken care of!

  Hi Grace,

  I would like to have all my domains working for my 1 blog where I’m already working on it, so I would like to transfer laviniamartins.wordpress.com to the blog where all others domains are already working (martinslavinia.wordpress.com, laviniamartins.com and laviniamartins.com.br), under the name Lavínia Martins, CFP®.

  If you make the opposity I can loose the blog and have to start again because there is nothing on laviniamartins.wordpress.com!

  Hi there,

  Currently you have to WordPress.com sites:

  laviniamartins.wordpress.com

  and

  martinslavinia.wordpress.com

  I can transfer your domain(s) to any one of these sites. However, if you want laviniamartins.wordpress.com to point to martinslavinia.wordpress.com or the other way around you will need a site redirect ($13/years).

  Domains like laviniamartins.com and laviniamartins.com.br are like mailing addresses (not the actual content of your site). So you can point these domains to any site you want. Your WordPress.com domains: laviniamartins.wordpress.com and martinslavinia.wordpress.com never delete. However, you can point your domain to any of these sites.

  Ok, and if we don’t redirect laviniamartins.wordpress.com to the other site, what happens with it?

  Then laviniamartins.wordpress.com will stand on its own. What you can do is place a sticky post at the top of your site saying that you moved to: XXXXXXX.com. That’s also a way to drive your readers to the correct site without paying for the Site Redirect upgrade.
