How to migrate big wordpress site

Hi,
We are trying to move to WordPress.com but we are having trouble exporting the current content or our wp website using the export tool provided in the wp admin. The browser keep timing out. We have also tried wp-cli but it just hangs. Is there anything else to try? Does wordpress.com accept raw SQL files and images and load it into our account?

Is the site you have the XML export file from still online?
If yes, what is the URL?
If the file is large you may have to export/import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. -
Hi there, Can you remove any unmoderated and spam comments, and then create an export file?
If you’ll upload that, we can split it and import it for you from our side.
