How to move a URL from his site to mine?

    I have created a site, https://sharelifefarm.wordpress.com, and the owner of http://sharelifefarms.com had told me he’d like to transfer the domain to my site. He had just renewed the domain name (with GoDaddy, I think?) – he is running it using WordPress but hosting it himself. I will run the site as a free site on wordpress.com. How do we accomplish this? Who needs to communicate what information to whom?

    Also, I don’t know why the “Blog URL” below refuses to point anywhere except to my other website, lwvmo.wordpress.com. That site is irrelevant to this question.
