how to move blog to different server

  I need to move my blog to a different server and I am very confused. I read the instructions on the word press site and I can not make heads and tails out of it.

  Not sure where you’re getting stuck with or what instructions you’re looking at but there’s a FAQ here at wp.com that may help you. You only have to do two things to move a blog:

  The site http://weirdnewsblog.com is being moved from one server that uses C-panel to another one that uses C-panel.
  I backed up and reloded the worp1 datebase I also sent a bckup of all the files to the new server and unziped it. I then created a user and pass for the datebase and edeted the config file. Instead of seeing the old blog I see this http://www.weirdnewsblog.travel-insurance-experts.com/. Can any one help?

  Actually you’re in teh wrong forums. I was thinking that this was for a wp.com blog. You need to be over at http://wordpress.org as that’s the support site for the software. You’re at another hosting company that uses the wordpress software.
