how to move comments – page to post

I want to make a post to replace a page on my blog.
Will it be possible to move comments from the page to the post?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Copy original comments, log out, sumbit them as your own, log in, edit them to restore original names etc.

Avatars are generally tied to the email address, so as long as you input the original email addresses, they will be retained.

I’ve changed everything except the IP numbers, and my avatars are still there.
How do I change the IP numbers, from mine back to theirs?

Delete the comments you added and then make the comments using their username, email address and website right from the very beginning.

That’s why I originally suggested logging out before submitting the comments: if you don’t, you get your own avatar instead of the commenters’.
