How to move custom upgrade from wordpress.com to blog on wordpress.org?
-
I need to apply the custom upgrade that I purchased from wordpress.com to my wordpress.org blog. I originally created a blog through wordpress.com and ended up moving to wordpress.org to be self-hosted. I am working on this with a business partner who purchased the upgrade through the wrong site. It clearly shows on my worpdress.com dashboard that I paid for the custom upgrade, however I need it on my .org account instead. Is there any way to do this? Can we transfer the upgrade to the correct account? Or, can we refund the purchase from wordpress.com and repurchase through wordpress.org? I hope this makes sense. Please help if you can! The sites in question are: http://theolivebranchblog.wordpress.com/ (The incorrect one with the upgrade) and http://www.theolivebranchblog.com/ (The one I would like to apply the upgrade to)
Thanks so much!

That’s not possible. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and run on different software. WordPress.org are keepers of software only. Themes here at WordPress.com are not coded to run on WordPress.org software and your custom design upgrade only applies to your WordPress.com free hosted blog and not o any other blog.

You don’t need a Custom Design upgrade when using a WordPress.org blog, as you have the ability to edit all theme files.
Would you like me to cancel and refund your upgrade here?
