How to move forward and create the site I want?
-
I would like to create a website that has the following attributes:
- I would have an open site that is public. On that site there will be a “sign-in” button.
- I would have different sites that my customers can sign in to. If I for example have Customer A who is a part of group A, I could manage their subscription so that when they sign in with a username and password, they will be automatically redirected to the group A site that is only available for spesific users.
- The site for group A would have blog posts and there the users can answer questions anonymously.
- I can copy/paste a group so that I can create for example 10 different groups that are quite similar but not exactly the same. Then I can assign different users to different groups.
What plug-ins do I need to be able to create such a site? What kind of a plan do I need? Is this possible?

Hi @kiafinska, that’s a unique set of requirements, and you may need a custom plugin or some other development, but I’m sure it’s possible. That’s the beauty of extendable open source software. I can’t advise extensively on the development side of things, but if you’re looking to have someone build it for you, you might check out Built By WordPress.com or Codable.
If you’re hosting here, you would need the Business plan for a site like this, as your plan would need to support custom code. Do you know whether you’re going to make ten fully separate sites (each of which would require the a Business Plan), or whether these can be pages / sections within one site?
