How to move from bloog.it to wordpress.com

Hello everybody.
I have created a blog with bloog.it but that site is closing down. I want to move it to WordPress.com using Import (I have already done the export from bloog.it) but it does not include the option “bloog.it”What can I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You must have an XML export file of your content in order to be able to import it https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/ into a wordpress.COM site.

I do have an XML file, exported from bloog.it. But when I go to WordPress.com to import it, there are several options:
Blogger
Blogroll
Categories and Tags
etc
and I don’t know which one to chose….
(in the past I have imported successfully another blog from Blogger to WordPress) -
PS: I also tried to move from bloog.it to Blogger and then to WordPress, but that failed too.

Can you open the XML file in a text editor, and check the first dozen or so lines for any identifying information? (Perhaps it’ll give us information about any file formats it’s compatible with, or how the file was generated.)

Is that export directly from bloog.it? If so, can you try importing it at Tools -> Import -> WordPress in your dashboard? There shouldn’t be any need to import into Blogger first.

YES! It worked! The export file from bloog.it is intended to be imported to WordPress.com. (After pasting the lines from the XML file it became a bit obvious…)
