How to move from onsugar to wordpress?

I would love to import all my onsugar posts to wordpress but how do i go about doing it?

wordpress currently does not support Onsugar. may be they support in future.

“Support?” No. They are two different services.

if Onsugar has an export function, you should be able to just connect that up with your Import here, as explained in the FAQ. Otherwise, you may have to do an XML import using your Onsugar feed, assuming it has a feed.

From the little I know, onsugar uses Drupal, and there is no easy way to export a Drupal site into WordPress since there are so many different ways Drupal can be configured.

It may end up being a copy and paste project.

Let me ask some Drupal Geeks I know and get back to you.

This is the best I’ve got:

    http://drupal.org/project/views_bonus

And that took two days of asking. You might see if an easy way exists to get it to one of the sites that supports easy import to WP.com like Livejournal, Blogspot, etc. Or maybe as a last resort you could do a plain XML import?

I also got this, via email:

There’s a couple of generic Drupal export modules that would work on basic content. If I recall correctly, they’ll create a CSV file. If WP has a CSV import, that might be workable.

Drupal has a bunch of modules designed to grab content from other systems, but they don’t work the other way as far as I know.

I’m surprised there isn’t Drupal import module for WP. Maybe ping the Brave New Code guys? If they don’t know of a WP plug-in or easy method, it probably doesn’t exit.

Actually OnSugar has offered exporting since April. I only recently found out. You should subscribe to the OnSugar Help blog, but I suppose not if you’re leaving – heh.

    (About their exporting.)

They support exports to WordPress so I assume the .com is included.

What _I_ want is for them to support export to another OnSugar blog. It can’t really be done yet because the current exports strip out certain OnSugar-only features. I want to merge a couple of small blogs into the main one. Oh well, I wait.

As for text in spreads, you would have to do work to keep it at all. :-(
