How to move from self host back to free wordpress.com

    Hi
    Just a few days ago, I tried to move my site from the free wordpress.com to a self hosted site but it didn’t go well.

    I just cancelled the self-host service (hostpapa). But now I am not sure how to revert back to my original free wordpress.com

    I tried to look into domain and edit DNS but it is still showing that my domain is handled by wordpress

    Any idea how I can move back to wordpress.com ? my site is http://www.evespiration.com

    Hi Evelyn,

    It looks like you have transferred your domain to another registrar. As Pam mentioned in the private email correspondence you have going, unfortunately, we don’t accept incoming transfers so you can’t transfer the domain back to WordPress.com. However, you can map it following the instructions here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

    That should get your domain pointed back to WordPress.com! Also, just a note, since you have the Premium bundle on your account, you should not be charged for this domain mapping. Please let me know if you are!
