How to move logo

  • Unknown's avatar

    hello, folks, I am taking over the management of this site https://www.kathleenkellett.com/ and I would like to move the logo on the top of the menu bar to the left of the links so they don’t drop down, so I would like the logo and the menu to be all in a line. I’m guessing it will need CSS customization or maybe something in the header.php file but I don’t know, which is why I am asking. thanks

    @steven270318, on responsive designed themes, such as on the site you reference, when a logo is to the left of the menu, at some narrower browser window width, the menu will go to two lines unless you have very few top level menu items. With this sort of layout in the header area, and give the number of items in the menu, there isn’t a lot that can be done to prevent that.

    You could try the following custom CSS, which at least gets rid of the menu/logo overlap.

    .navbar-default .navbar-collapse {
        width: 80% !important;
        float: right;
        margin-right: 20px !important;
    }
