How to move old posts to a new page

Is it possible to simply move posts from one page to another?

My problem is this: after importing my old blog from blogger to wordpress, all of my posts were placed onto my homepage of my blog. However, I have created a new page on my blog specifically for my the posts from my old blog. I can’t seem to figure out how to move these old posts from my homepage to the new page I created.

    Please advise.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please do this before you do anything else. Dashboard > Settings > Writing > look for ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically
Checkmark it and then click “Save Changes”.

We can set how many posts are displayed on the front page of our blogs here > Settings > Reading.

Eeverytime we publish a post that post will be entered automatically into the Archives pages as well as into the Categories and Tags pages that we assign to the post in question.

If the posts from the old blog are the ones you wish to be displayed here http://cambodiandays.wordpress.com/india-thailand-blog/ then you will have to create a unique category for them and assign the unique Category to them.

Once you have done that you can create a custom menu so that the posts are displayed in the top nevigation menu where static page tabs are normally displayed (black band under the header image).

It’s important to understand that there is only ONE page in a blog that automatically updates with every post we publish and it’s the front page of the blog, unless we choose to change that to another static page. When we publish a post it will automatically appear in the Archives and also on the Category and Tag pages of the categories and tags that we assigned to that post.

Although we cannot post to more than one page in a blog we can create the appearance that we have done that by setting up a custom menu and displaying Categories in tabs along the horizontal navigation menu. That feature is available for some themes but not for all themes.

Great, thanks timethief for the helpful response. I guess my problem stemmed from a misunderstanding of pages vs. posts (a common misunderstanding I gather). Much appreciated.

You’re welcome. I’m happy to hear my explanation was helpful. :)
