Hi there!
It looks like in the last few hours you were able to set your Home page to static and your Recipes page to hold your posts. Great job! :)
Is there anything else I can help you with?
By the way — since you have a cooking blog, you might like to use our Recipe Shortcode in your posts. It’ll help make your recipes found in search engines:
But let me know if you have questions at all. :)

Hi Alex,
Thanks for responding! I still can’t get the home page to display the ‘front page’ theme. How do I do that?

Hi Ilana,
So you’ve already done the trickiest part! Your page is using the “frontpage” template, and that page is set as your static front page.
When you’re using that page template, your home page has 3 sections where you can choose to add content.
1) A featured area with a full-width featured image and an overlay containing the page content. To edit this content, edit your page here, make sure to set a featured image, and add some content into the page’s body.
2) Three front-page widget areas, displayed side-by-side in columns.
You can add widgets to those areas here:
https://ilanaselivanov.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
Add the widgets you like into the areas called “First Front Page Sidebar,” “Second Front Page Sidebar,” and “Third Front Page Sidebar.”
3) The Testimonial area, which displays two testimonials.
To add a testimonial, go to Testimonials → Add New in your dashboard here:
https://ilanaselivanov.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=jetpack-testimonial
If no testimonials are added, this section will not be displayed.
So try adding bits of test information to those three sections and you can see how they appear on your front page.
