How to move posts along pages?

  I was wondering if there is any way to move blog posts onto another page once you have a certain amount on your home page. Then at the bottom have numbers so you can go along the pages? Just so all my blog posts aren’t on one long page.

  On the main posts list, most often the home page, most themes display a set number of the latest posts and there is not a way to move just some of them off the page. There is a setting that will limit the number. Try going to WP Admin > Settings > Reading and changing the “Blog pages show at most” setting to 5.
