How to move sticky posts from the slider from recent posts page?

    I have tagged 5 posts as sticky in the oxygen theme to keep them in the featured slider on the home page. The problem is though they are stuck at the top when I add a recent posts page. Is there any way of hiding them everywhere else but the slider? Or at least hiding them/ not having them at the top of a recent posts page?

    Are you referring to the recent articles section? A post will not display twice on the same page. Your sticky posts display in the featured posts slider, and the recent articles section displays the latest three (non-sticky) posts.

    No not the recent arches section. I tried to make a separate page away from the home page but the sticky posts which just have featured pictures on- not articles, keep showing up on that new page. I don’t want these sticky posts to be at the top of that page?
