How to Move Tagline Upwards

    Hi,

    I would like to move the tagline in the following site upwards closer to the logo. Is this not possible because the logo retains the square shape?

    Hi @suicidediatribe.

    You are correct about the logo. The logo is retaining its square shape. The black background of the logo is what is filling the space between the white part of the logo and your site description.

    In this screenshot the area that is highlighted in blue shows the space the header image is filling:

    You could try cropping the logo to remove some of the space at the bottom, which would allow the site description to be visibly closer to the logo itself, with less black space in between.

    Hi there,

    Go to My Site ->Customize ->CSS, and insert the following code:

    /*
Reduce space between site logo and tagline
*/
.site-logo-link {
	margin-bottom: 0px;
}

    You can make that value negative to move the tagline even closer if you prefer.
