How to notify the commenter of an answer

  I usually reply to all comments. Is there any way to automatically generate and send a message to a commenter that I have answered his comment.

  You’ll see, at the bottom of each individual post, a tickbox for “notify me of follow up comments” so if the commenter ticks that, they get an email when you reply.

  I think it’s relatively new for all the themes. I just started noticing it recently.
