How to only display featured image on portfolio page?

  Hi there!
  My previous template (can’t remember what it was) allowed me to display only the Featured Images of my Portfolio without the Post excerpts, etc. below. It had a nice mouseover to the title too.
  Since I had to shortcode my new theme to display the Portfolio, can I have this functionality again?

  Current theme’s blog display options are only ‘full post’ or ‘post excerpt’.

  Hi there,

  You can try searching for a portfolio theme on WordPressdotcom. There are many free themes which just show the featured images without the excerpts.
  Check out: https://wordpress.com/themes/free/filter/feature:portfolio

  As these are portfolio themes, you don’t need to use the portfolio shortcode.

  The one I’m using already is a portfolio theme from that list. “Karuna”.

  Hi lizzydesousa,

  “Karuna” is not a portfolio theme.
  If you do a search on this page https://wordpress.com/themes/free/filter/feature:portfolio
  then you will not find ‘Karuna’

  Karuna theme displays excerpts on the blog page below the featured image.
  You can hide the excerpt part below the featured images by applying ‘Custom CSS’ which is available with Premium and Business plans on WordPressdotcom.

  Or,
  You can select a theme which does not display post data under the featured image.

  Eeer no. I tried “Argent” now.
  It has the same issue although the preview displays the images without exerts below.
  Can anyone tell me what else I might be missing?

  I see Karuna theme is active on your site.
  Could you please activate Argent theme on your website and follow this theme documentation to set up your website.
