How to opt out of the new block format?

    Hello, every time I try to edit or create a post, a popup comes up asking me to convert to the new block format. I really don’t like this format, it is irritating and counter intuitive to me, and I would like to know if there is a way to default to using the classic editor. It’s really quite annoying to be nagged every single time I try to do anything on the blog. At least have a ‘don’t show this again’ button. >.<

    Hi hmfriendly,
    I would recommend following to you if you already have new block editor enabled on your site:

    Step 1: In the edit mode of any of your post you’ll see button with three dots in the top right corner of your site.

    Step 2: On clicking this button, a drop-down will appear and then you have to click “switch to classic editor” link.

    Step 3: Then in the next screen click the button with label “Use Classic Editor”.

    Step 4: You will now have classic editor.

    If above is not the case then it means you already have classic editor.

    Yes I know i want to have it permanent though so I don’t have to do it every time. It feels like it’s being shoved down user’s throats you know? Like HERE USE THIS IT’S BETTER CUZ WE SAY SO. X((
