How to order my multiple Sticky Posts?
-
I would like to have more than One Sticky Post but I cannot find a way to arrange the posts so that a certain one is on top of the other. Is there a way to do this? Many thanks.

As I remember, they will appear in the order you “stick” them. The first at the top, the next below that, etc.
Or maybe it is the other way around. At any rate, I believe it is the order you “stick” them in.

So I tried changing the order I ‘stuck’ them, first I unticked both the sticky posts I wanted, then I re-checked them twice in two different orders. But the undesired one still floats to the top. Quite inexplicable.

But multiple stickies means that a returning visitor would always have to scroll way down to see if you’ve got a new post: not at all user-friendly.
Suggested alternatives:
• Create links to those posts in your sidebar.
• File them under a special category and add a link to that category in the top nav.
• Create one short sticky containing links to those posts.Or at least add the Recent Posts widget.
