How to permanently delete a website

  I intended to start a blog but, by mistake, I started the first page on a website. How can I permanently delete that site and start a blog?

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  If you wish to delete a free hosted WordPress.com site, you must be logged in under the same username. Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use it.

  Hi there, it’s not necessary to delete your current WordPress.com website to start a blog.

  If you want to display your blog posts on alexianastasia.wordpress.com using the Gateway theme https://wordpress.com/theme/gateway/ head to the Appearance>Customizer>Homepage setting https://wordpress.com/support/customizer/#homepage-settings and change the setting for homepage displays to “your latest posts” and save your changes. Then when you publish some posts, they’ll appear on your site’s front page.
