how to permanently delete images from a post?

how to delete permanently pictures from a post and blog, PLEASE? until a few weeks ago, whenever I’d click on ‘edit’, each image used to appear in the dashboard, I would select it/them and then I’d delete it/them permanently, but since they are not visible any more, how can I delete them?… for example here: [gallery type="slideshow" ids="13364,13365,13366,13367,13368,13369,13370,13371"] – huge thanx in advance for your help, kindness, availability and patience! respectful regards, Mélanie

Look in you Media Library and also delete them from the Library – deleting an image from a Post only removes it from the Post, but not your blog, so you need to go to the Library and also delete them
Dashboard >> Media >> Library

thank you, “auxclass”! I did know that deleting an image from a post doesn’t remove it permanently from the blog, like before when it was easy and quick…:-) mille merci!

Remember also that if an image is deleted from the library it is also deleted from ALL Posts & Pages also and there is no trash bin to restore deleted images from
