Only the owner is able to delete his own site running on the wordpress.com platform, https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/.
To remove a site from Google and other search engines, you must contact those search engines yourself.

Hi there, you say that you deleted the content of your site. There is a difference between deleting the site content and leaving the site active and deleting your site.

If you no longer use your WordPress.com site and do not want to reuse the same WordPress.com site address in the future, then follow the advice in the link that @staartmees provided.

If you think you may wish to use your site address in the future, the other option is to make your site Private by changing your site Privacy setting https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

Google and other search engines will recrawl your site (may take 4-6 weeks) and remove your site from their index, but to remove information from their cache, you need to contact those search engines directly. WordPress.com has no control over this.

    From: https://wordpress.com/support/seo/

You need to wait until your results drop in the search engine. There is no further action you can take on WordPress.com’s end. You may request that Google remove a website from their index through the website removal request tool.

    Hope that also helps.
