How to place an image in the footer?

  I can’t place an image in the footer of my website, it only gives me the option of placing it in the sidebar. Is there a way around this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Please note that a footer widget area is determined by the theme. As seen here, the Big Brother theme only allows sidebar widgets:

  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/big-brother/

  If you need a footer widget area, I would highly recommend taking a look at another theme:

  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/search/footer/
