How to place certain widgets on the right sidebar?

    I am using Flounder theme. When I use Customizer, I do not find means to place certain widgets on the right sidebar. All widgets by default shown on the left sidebar. How can I change it? Thanks!

    Hi @vimokshananda,

    If you resize your browser’s screen while viewing your site, you’ll see that the widgets dropdown to the right sidebar at a certain point.

    The reason for this is that Flounder was designed to adapt based on the size of the screen it’s being viewed on, which makes it easy to navigate on mobile devices.

    This is also the reason why you see the widgets on the left side when previewing your site in the Customizer. The Customizer itself takes up some space on your site and means that your site is being previewed at a smaller width than it actually is.

    You can scroll down when adding widgets in the Customizer to see their positioning and appearance on the left. Although the widgets will display on the left when previewing, they will be correctly displayed on the right when viewing your complete site.

    Well, my MBAir is only 13″ and within that screen, I have been using the window of Safari not to the optimum. Taking the clue from you, I clicked the green button in Safari to maximise. Still widgets did not appear in the right sidebar!

    I was wondering what could be the error. Then I found out that I have not been using the Display to the maximum that is 1440×900. When I adjusted to this size display, (though the text was smaller in look, not comfortable for a senior citizen!) lo! the widgets moved to the right!
