How to play an audio on page load

Need to know if the facility exits where an uploaded audio file can kick in and play automatically when a page loads. I want to load a gallery page and have it play an audio file automatically without clicking a link to play it. Is this possible?

Ok so how about linking the audio to an image file, this way maybe the audio plays when the image file opens? Possible?

Just to say that, as a reader, nothing irritates me more and faster than audio automatically playing on pageload.

Are you referring to a wordpress.COM blog ? Because your user name doesn’t like

How to play an audio on page load is the problem that I could not solve it on my page.

I tried tens of times and could not do it.

I wish if somone can figure that problem ?

bakkick – it would help volunteers in the forum if you linked your user name to your blog here at wordpress.COM instead of a website not hosted here.

And there is no way to autoplay here at wordpress.COM.

From a visitor standpoint, why force me to download and play music when I might be on dial up or low Net connection? Just sayin’…

well i purchased the update and decided to place a couple of vid clips online, now when they play for the first time they shudder, they are fine when you play them a second time, any ideas would be great.

I just tried this not sure it will work for you guys….but I referenced
http://www.1pixelout.net/code/audio-player-wordpress-plugin/

there are some codes you need to add and I followed this.
so i first added this code to my page

[audio:http://www.somedomain.com/path/to/name_of_mp3_file.mp3%5D
but the user has the option to play it.

but if you add the “autostart=yes” so far it automatically plays it.
[audio:name_of_mp3_file.mp3|autostart=yes|bgcolor=0x000000]

I hope this works!
