How to point domain to wordpress site & keep email & have navigation

  I bought http://www.thrivableworld.org and then separately set up http://www.thrivableworld.wordpress.org. Then I tried to follow the instructions to point the domain to the blog (so that when you type in http://www.thrivableworld.org it takes you to my blog). It took you to my blog, but there were no sub-pages, so every page had the address http://www.thrivableworld.org. Also, my domain host (www.1and1.com) then sent an email saying they were blocking my email account since I had changed the DNS settings. So I reset the DNS settings to their original state. What should I do now instead?
