How to populate front page widget of Sela Theme

  I am using Sela theme for my wordpress.org site, and not sure how to populate the front page widget as the demo shows: https://selademo.wordpress.com/

  I read from the theme detail page that these widgets are populated by “text widget”, however I don’t know how to do it to include image and hyperlink to another page. Would you please let me know how I can achieve the same effect as the demo page?
