How to populate my blog

  Hi, I just created a blog. I have added 2 posts. I am now trying to populate “Categories”, “Archives”, and “Recent Posts”. Somehow I don’t know how to do it. Please help. Thanks.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You do not need to do anything there.
  As you publish posts they are automatically included in the right places so you have no work to do.

  Hi, I’m muddling along here, but that isn’t my experience… my only post keeps telling me that it is “uncategorized”.

  Is there a master list of categories or tags (like the W3.org list of entities) or do you just invent categories and tags as you go?

  Ok… this is my first comment and instead of using what my profile says will “Display name publicly”, the post lists my “username”… what am I doing wrong?

  Uncategorized is the default category, while making a message, you can on the right add new or select categories instead of uncategorized. Once you added a category, it will be returning in your next messages as a selection option, it will also show in the category widget on your blog.
