How to position pictures where I want them?
-
I’m trying to put in pictures, but they’re floating around all over the place, I can’t put two next to each other horizontally, and I can’t even space them out vertically with line breaks because wordpress keeps deleting the line breaks. Adding “code<p></p>” only got us one paragraph-break’s worth of space, and we’d need several of them to get text and photos arranged in a way that makes sense.
It’s causing my content to look really jumbled and amateurish. Pls help.

Hi there,
If you’d like to manually enter spaces between horizontally spaced images, you can do so by going to the text editor (by clicking the “Text” tab at the top of the editing window) and entering the following code in between each image:
If you’d like to enter line breaks between vertically spaced images, the code which you’ll need to enter is:
You can enter multiple instances of each without any issues!

It’s not working. It’s not just an issue of lining photos up with each other, but also getting the text to break so that we don’t start the next section of text immediately adjacent to the photo for the last section.
Check out the issue here– http://owlspringsfarm.wordpress.com/2013/06/04/life-after-tilapia-diversifying-aquaponics/
Can’t get the text for hybrid striped bass to start below the photo of the yellow perch.

Oh, OK! That’s a totally different issue!
I’ve taken care of it for you on this one already, but the problem there is that the image was set to have word wrap on. The way to fix it is to click on the image while you’re editing the post. You’ll see two icons appear, one that looks like a postcard, one that looks like the international “no” symbol. Click the postcard and the options for the image comes up.
Beneath the preview for the image are several radio buttons. Select “none” and then click update. All the text will no longer wrap around the image, it’ll just go in beneath it!
