How to post grid pages on Home page

  My Motif theme supports grid pages. How do I display these with their featured image and excerpt on the Home page? Thanks.

  We can either get grid (using Grid page template) or featured image (using Front page template), but not both.

  Featured image is not displayed on pages using Grid page template.

  If you want both featured image and grid, then use Front page template and use the two testimonials and two widgets displayed as grid.

  Thank you for the reply, chaitanyamsv. Now I know I can’t have both grid and featured image on the Home page, even if the Motif theme displayed that (hence I selected this theme).

  I wanted to list 3 Products in 3 columns under grid form as a comparison means and when the reader clicks on any product, it will link and open up that particular Product page selected in full width.

  Will testimonial allow the same effect as this?

  The best way to achieve what you want is to have a grid page with three child pages, one for each product. Clicking on each link will open the respective page in full width.

  Earlier I said:

  This is incorrect. I just realized that we can indeed have a featured image for grid page as well.

  Testimonials is not the best way to achieve what you want.

  I managed to set a grid page with 3 child pages. This is what I wanted. Thank you for your help!
