How to Post HTML into a page
-
I would like to put an interactive map of where we have traveled on a page in my blog. When I copy the provided HTML into the text tab (not visual tab) of my page and then update all that shows up is the text html. Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
I’m not sure what service you’re using to generate the map for your site, but it looks like the output is javascript that you’re supposed to put on your site.
Because WordPress.com is a shared service, several types of code and html are automatically stripped out for performance and security reasons. This includes things like iframes and javascript.
For more details on what type of code is and isn’t allowed, have a look at this support document: https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

I’m not aware of ANY interactive maps that are allowed here. Google Maps can be embedded, but not any overlays like Community Walk etc. Instructions are in the support documents.
