How to Post Static Page on Menu Tab?

  Dear WordPress World!

  I am a total tech-neophyte, but eager to learn new stuff. I can’t figure out how to make the following happen: ideally, I want a user to go to my page, and then click on a tab in my one menu. Once that user clicks on the menu tab, I would like a simple page to appear (like most websites). Currently all that I can manage is a blog format, with only a summary. So my question is: how does one insert pages into menu tabs?

  I hope this makes sense and I would very much appreciate any help.
