How to post to word press blog through email and define category

  I can post to my blog through email. and all its goes under “Uncategorized” category. i want it to be posted under my existing category like “Linux” “Computer” etc.

  Is there a way to do this, so that I can define the category in email body.

  I am not getting this, because posting in a category with [category movie] doesn’t work, I am using WordPress 2.8.5, I tried with category id an with the name and it still posts in Uncategorized

  Please read this entry so you appreciate the differences between free hosted wordpress.COM blogs and self hosted wordpress.ORG installs on your own domain. This technical forum is ONLY for wordpress.COM users. As you have a wordpress.ORG install and should be posting to this forum instead http://wordpress.org/support/
