How to prevent & converting to &amp in source code highlight

    Hi guys,

    I am following this guide for posting source code and get it highlighted: https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/posting-source-code/. But one issue is that whenever I have one line that contains symbol like ”’ or ‘&’, it automatically convert to ;quot and ;amp. They are also auto-generated and multiplied whenever I try to edit these posts.

    I try to google this but it seems to lead me the solution of wordpress.org which I have to modify plugin and add patch. I also try on public forum but no luck for me. Please let me know how to avoid this kinda conversion.
