How to prevent photos from sharpening when mouse hovers over

    Hello. I noticed that on my website, the photos are slightly faded until you scroll your mouse over them, and then they sharpen or brighten a bit. I want to make it that they always look how they look when you hover the mouse over them. In other words they shouldn’t look faded to begin with, and they shouldn’t change when you hover over them. They should just look the sharper way all the time. Hope that makes sense. If anyone has any ideas how to do that I’d love to hear! Thank you. Happy Holidays!

  • Hi there,

    Sure, you can try adding this bit of CSS to stop that opacity effect. Go to Appearance >> Customize >> CSS and paste this in as the last entry in your CSS file:

    .header-image img, .entry-content img, .comment-content img, .widget img, .entry-thumbnail img {
    opacity: 1.0;
    }

    Cheers!
