How to prevent viewers from downloading my pixs?
-
I want to keep pix on my website and do not want viewers from downloading the images. Anyone knows how I can do this in wordpress?

If you mean prevent people from saving the images with a right click, there was a thread about this recently and apparently there is no way to prevent this:

To be honest though, if the image loads within a browser, a simple Print Screen gets them a copy of the image.
I even think there’s a Firefox plugin to override any javascript protection methods.

You cannot prevent downloading as others have explained. What you can do is watermark your blog images

As the others have said, the absolute only way to prevent people from downloading is to not upload them in the first place. Watermarks and other types of preventive measures might only discourage people from posting your pictures somewhere else on the Internet without giving you credit. However, this won’t stop them from downloading them.

The only sure-fire way to stop them from downloading them is to not put them on the web in the first place. Sadly there are too many people out there that just don’t pay any attention to copyright.
If your going to place images on the web, make sure they are very low resolution (72dpi), smaller in size (I stick to a width of about 400 to 500 maximum) and use the “low quality” setting when I save them. That way at least they aren’t getting a high quality image if they steal it. As timethief has suggested, watermarking them is about the best solution.

IMO this is analogous to the blog scraper problem. If you do not want your text or images to be stolen then, don’t put them on the web.
P.S. I like the “low quality” image idea. ;)

Yeah, I figure if they’re going to steal it, make it the lowest quality you can.
