How to prevent WordPress plugin files are being accessible in public
-
Hi Support,
For some reason some wordpress plugin files are being accessible in public please refer to the link below:
https://lumina.com/wp-content/plugins/woo-gutenberg-products-block/readme.txt
1. We would like to hide all important wordpress files including plugin files to the public.
2. We tried using WP Hardening plugin for WordPress Security Fixes please refer to the screenshot: https://snipboard.io/rBlGwo.jpg
3. We tried accesssing the plugin foler https://lumina.com/wp-content/plugins/woo-gutenberg-products-block and this is now Forbidden but for some reason the txt file is still not hidden https://lumina.com/wp-content/plugins/woo-gutenberg-products-block/readme.txt
Let me know are we able to resolve this issue and your prompt response is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Jendy

Hi there:
We are unable to help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we’re unable to provide support. But I can get you pointed in the right direction.
The good news is that because your host uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is available at the community forums here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help.
I hope this points you in the right direction.
